NAP-505 is an electrochemical CO gas sensor that is significantly smaller than other electrochemical CO sensors. In particular, with a thickness of approximately 2034 mm, it is the smallest electrochemical sensor for consumer use in the world. The detection principle is the same as that of general electrochemical gas sensors, but by improving the structure and electrodes, we have achieved a type that can be supplied at a low cost while maintaining performance. It is ideal for CO alarms for general households, and has also obtained UL2075 XNUMX component certification.

The newly developed NAP-508 electrochemical CO sensor is a consumer electrochemical CO gas sensor with a longer life than the conventional NAP-505 sensor. The shape and dimensions are exactly the same as the conventional NAP-505 sensor, but the cap is dark blue to distinguish it from the conventional product. Based on the results of accelerated life expectancy prediction tests, the sensor is expected to last approximately 12 years under actual usage conditions. It has excellent performance, and can be installed in general home appliances and fire alarms that have not been installed until now. Due to the high heat resistance of the plastic material used, it can also be installed in exhaust gas monitors of latent heat recovery type combustion appliances.
